Washington Park has been participating in EPA’s Closing America’s Wastewater Access Gap program, which provides no-cost technical assistance to communities with failing septic systems or without existing wastewater infrastructure. The town is having a Preliminary Engineering Report completed through the program which will evaluate all alternatives for long-term wastewater solutions for the community.
The town is now seeking community input. Please join us at the Municipal Building on Tues. Feb. 10th at 6:30 pm to engage in discussion and share your thoughts and questions about the proposed wastewater solutions. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how this project originated, the proposed wastewater solutions for the community, funding options for the proposed solutions, and next steps for the project. A majority of the Washington Park Town Board may be present, but not to conduct official town business.
